I am using a gx_multi_line_text_view object and I am trying to display characters that are generated from a different processor. The active language is set properly and the other strings, using the same font name, from the string table in the various widgets are being displayed in the appropriate latin way. This widget was originally created in GUI-X Studio and uses the same font as many other widgets, with the extended latin character set enabled.
The problem here is that the when gx_multi_line_text_view object receives the raw character string, not from the string table, already in the latin font to be displayed, either the object messes up the special character or it throws an exception to the Default Handler.
Is there a way to get the gx_multi_line_text_view object to display raw strings, requiring the latin font, or do I have to move all of my strings into GUIX Studio?
