Great stuff! Even though we discourage direct register access, it is still there for everyone to use in cases such as yours. Registers can either be accessed with their name, or as a group with _b suffix, giving access to specific bits (as referenced in the hardware user's manual). Bear in mind that some registers will not have a _b group.
