I am now starting a project on my own PCB:
- My S7G2 is now in a 176 pin LQFP
- As much as possible I have followed pin uses etc from the S7G2 DK
- The only complicated system on my board is dual Ethernet, there is no GUI, USB, Etc.
- This is an industrial controller and the main reasons to use Syngergy are the ThreadX and NetX components and some nice hardware features of the dual Ethernet.
My challenge is to generate a custom BSP to support my board configuration. Warren has asked me to create a thread and document my progress so others can follow.
I will attempt to follow the app note r01an3044eu0102_synergy to create my new custom BSP.
Four steps are required:
- Create base BSP off of existing BSP - there are only three options - a generic Synergy and two blinky packs. I will start with "Renesas.Synergy.1.0.0.pack"
- Convert this to a template pack
- Create new project and modify BSP for my PCB
- Create a final pack for my custom BSP
