we want to develop a bootloader that look at the Sdcard if a new image is avaible and flash it. Now we start with Karols TFTP Boot example.
So we have some questions to the bootloader configuration and the application image build.
The bootloader linker script describe the start at 0x0 and the flash length is 0x0040000 (256k). If i go right then the application start at 0x0040000 and that is the only thing i had to configure in the application linker script? Or some other settings to do in the project?
When i convert the application S-Rec file to BCH with the Flashloader utility what is the rigth configuration?
BootloaderType: Blocking BlockSize: 1024 Image Slot: 0 Fill Space: 256 Valid Mask: 0xAF Executable Address: 0x0040000 Valid Flash Size: ? Header Location: ?
The example from Karol is it right that the image is directly flashed without ony additional storage? So we had the full flash space (start address 0x004000) for the image?
At second step we change the tftp bootloader project to load the image from sdcard.
